Introduction

The DGW-A16X series intelligent communication gateway is a data concentration unit system designed to comply with the IEC 61850 conformance communication standards. It adopts a 1U, 19-inch standard rack-mounted form factor and can be deployed as an intelligent communication node agent in power automation systems.

It collects various types of data through multiple RS232/RS485 serial ports and Ethernet ports. By using the dedicated ICE configuration tool, users can import predefined IEC 61850 SCL (.icd/.cid) template files and configure internal data mapping.

The DGW-A16X series can function as an IEC 61850 IED agent node to communicate with the master station, thereby simplifying the communication workflow of power automation systems.
